Congratulations on the upcoming graduation of your child from Homestead High School! In a few weeks, you will celebrate a significant milestone in your child’s life. Graduation is a time to reflect on all that your child has accomplished and on the outstanding education your child has received in the Mequon-Thiensville School District.
The Homestead Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and the Mequon-Thiensville Education Foundation (MTEF) invite you to “Leave a Legacy” in honor of your child. The MTEF created the “Leave a Legacy” fund several years ago to help ensure that future students of Homestead High School benefit from the same educational excellence that your child has received. Each graduating family is asked to join in this legacy.
We are excited to announce that all proceeds from the Class of 2021 Leave a Legacy Fund will go toward an outdoor classroom in the courtyard at Homestead High School!
2021 is an exciting time at Homestead with new updates coming to our school through the district referendum project. Along with a new entrance, lobby and large group instruction area, we are set to expand access to our beautiful courtyard in the middle of the school. With new ways to access this space, the plan is to put in an outdoor classroom in the courtyard with a paved surface, outdoor furniture, classroom technology and updated landscaping. The proceeds from the Class of 2021 Leave a Legacy Fund will go to the design and creation of this new outdoor space. What a great way for this group of seniors, certainly one of Homestead’s most memorable, to leave its legacy for future Highlanders.
We hope you will consider a contribution in any amount to this project. All donors will be recognized in the MTEF Annual Report and on a plaque. Additionally, $500+ sponsors will be recognized on 8” x 8" bricks and $250-$499 sponsors will be recognized on 4” x 8” bricks in the outdoor courtyard. Contributions to Leave a Legacy are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by the law. Thank you in advance for your generous contribution and investment in our children. Strong schools make strong communities!
Sincerely,
