Fundraising Events

Annual Giving Campaign
The Annual Giving Campaign, a community-wide direct mail effort, is the Foundation's largest fundraiser, generating more than half of the total funds raised in our fiscal year.  The Foundation has conducted an Annual Giving Campaign since 1999.

The support of our financial donors including individuals, family foundations, community members, and businesses, along with corporate matching gifts, is sincerely appreciated.

The 2017-2018 Annual Giving Campaign generated over $170,000.  The 2018-2019 Annual Campaign will begin in October.

Tartan Bash
Save February 8th, 2019 for TARTAN20 at Ozaukee Country Club!

The Tartan Bash  (originally known as the Tartan Ball) is a community-wide event that provides an opportunity for all members from the Mequon-Thiensville community to join together to celebrate our exemplary schools.  This fun, social fundraising event has been an annual tradition since 2000.

In 2018, the Tartan Bash's "Destination Education" generated over $147,000 in profits including $53,000 through the Fund-A-Grant voice auction, which was designated for World Language and technology.

Color Run
The second annual MTEF Color Run raised over $23,000! This fun and colorful event started at Homestead High School and ended at the Mequon Library where participants then enjoyed the Taste of Mequon Festival.
