BEQUESTS

A bequest donation is a planned gift of money or other assets, made to the Foundation through a will or trust, which takes effect after the donor's passing. It's a wonderful way to support the Foundation and create a lasting legacy. Bequests can be simple or complex. Donors can choose to leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of their estate, or the remainder of their estate after other provisions are specified, as well as provide conditions about how the gifts can be used. Charitable bequests may provide tax benefits, such as deductions, for the value of the gift.
