Grants are awarded annually to all public schools in the Mequon-Thiensville School District.

Grants awarded are targeted to sustain and maintain essential programs, support initiatives designed to assist the classroom teacher as class sizes increase, and explore creative opportunities to enhance learning experiences.

The Grants Advisory Committee assists the Foundation in the grant selection process.  The GAC is comprised of district staff from all levels and specialty areas, our Executive Director and Mequon-Thiensville Education Foundation board members.

Your donation will support current grant requests.

  • Priority is given to grants that support programs at risk due to current budgetary pressures.

  • Fund allocation is determined by the Grants Advisory Committee with the Foundation Board of Directors' approval.

  • Grants will be awarded throughout the school year, with the majority awarded in Spring.
