Annual Giving Campaign
The Annual Giving Campaign, a community-wide direct mail effort, is the Foundation's largest fundraiser, generating more than half of the total funds raised in our fiscal year. The Foundation has conducted an Annual Giving Campaign since 1999.
The support of our financial donors including individuals, family foundations, community members, and businesses, along with corporate matching gifts, is sincerely appreciated.
The 2016-2017 Annual Giving Campaign generated over $163,000. The 2017-2018 Annual Campaign is currently underway and runs through January.
Tartan Ball...now the Tartan Bash
The Tartan Bash (originally known as the Tartan Ball) is a community-wide event that provides an opportunity for all members from the Mequon-Thiensville community to join together to celebrate our exemplary schools. This fun, social fundraising event has been an annual tradition since 2000.
In 2017, the Tartan Bash's "Party with a Purpose" was held at the Ozaukee Country Club of Mequon. This school year, the Tartan Bash will again be at Ozaukee Country Club on January 20, 2018.
The MTEF Color Run had its inaugural year the fall of 2017, replacing the MTEF Run/Walk. This fun and colorful event starts at Homestead High School and ends at the Mequon Library where our participants then get to enjoy the Taste of Mequon Festival.
The MTEF Spring Raffle occurred every spring from 2009-2017. The Raffle gives everyone an opportunity to help support the MTEF when you buy a ticket, with the added bonus of maybe being a winner yourself! From 2009-2016, a $250 winner was drawn from each of the 6 schools and two overall grand prize winners were chosen to win $500 and $1000.
In 2017, the raffle prize was a fully loaded Macbook in your choice of color and Rockstar Parking at HHS during the upcoming school year. Raffle raised $2600.
