Endowment Fund

The Mequon-Thiensville Education Foundation Endowment Fund consists of monies specifically designated by donors for the Endowment Fund.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide long-term sustainable funding for the Mequon-Thiensville School District.

Donations will be invested, with the principal remaining intact.

Dividends and interest from the Endowment Fund will provide a permanent source of funds for future Foundation expenses, including grants, awards, and operating expenses, allowing your donation to have an impact over a long period of time.

How will my donation make a difference?

Your donation will help us reach our goal of $1,000,000 and ensure future financial support for our schools.  In June 2010, the Endowment Fund totals over $200,000.

  • The Foundation will invest a minimum of $40,000 per year in the Endowment Fund.

  • Donations will provide long-term funding to support future projects and programs.

  • The Endowment Fund is managed by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the world with assets of more than $542 million.

  • Invest in the future of the Mequon-Thiensville public schools.
